An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer (Senior Associate level) to join a highly regarded Melbourne CBD boutique practice offering quality work, genuine flexibility and long-term career progression.

What you will be doing
Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing a broad range of family law matters, including parenting disputes, property settlements, financial agreements, divorce, family violence,



child support and Intervention Order proceedings
- Running files autonomously from initial instructions through to resolution
- Appearing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and the Magistrates’ Court of Victoria
- Advising clients and representing them in negotiations, mediations and dispute resolution conferences
- Drafting court documents, correspondence and complex legal advice
- Building strong client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers
- Contributing to the continued growth and reputation of the firm

About you
To be successful, you will ideally have:

- 5+ years’ PAE, predominantly within family law
- Strong technical knowledge of family law and relevant court procedures
- Experience independently managing complex parenting and property matters
- Confidence appearing in court and advocating for clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop trusted client relationships
- A genuine desire to contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture
