This is an independent contractor opportunity, not employment. You'll contract with Bluentra Limited, a New Zealand company trading as Collassist, as an independent business under a written independent contractor agreement, with a reasonable opportunity to get independent advice before signing.
Collassist is a growing New Zealand company whose software automatically chases overdue invoices for Xero users. We're building a referral network of partners across Australia who can reach businesses in both Australia and New Zealand. You introduce suitable Australian and NZ businesses on Xero that struggle with late payments; we run the demo, onboarding and support.
Commission
No salary, retainer, guaranteed income or minimum hours.
- 30% of subscription payments we receive (excluding GST), for up to 12 months from the customer's first paid payment, while they stay subscribed. The 12 months doesn't pause or restart.
- Commission applies to the monthly plan fee only.
- Example: a small business on our Starter plan (NZ$128/month + GST) earns you NZ$38.40 a month, or NZ$460.80 over 12 months. Larger businesses on higher-volume plans earn you more. Your earnings depend on how many businesses you introduce subscribe and stay.
- Earned only if a business you register first in our lead tracker attends a demo within 14 days of registration, then subscribes and makes its first payment within 30 days of that demo. Nothing is earned during free trials.
- Commission is adjusted if a payment is refunded.
- Paid in NZD within 14 days of month end, against a statement you invoice, to your Australian bank account.
Any currency conversion or bank fees are yours. No cap.
- You cover your own tax, superannuation, insurance and costs. Full terms are in the contractor agreement.
How you work
Remote: work from anywhere in Australia. You choose who to approach, how and when, with no set hours or targets. You may subcontract and work for any other business. Declining leads or extra work won't end the arrangement. NZ business hours run 2–3 hours ahead of eastern Australia, so NZ calls usually suit mornings AEST/AEDT.
Outreach must comply with the law where the business is located. For Australian businesses, that includes the Spam Act 2003, the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 where it applies, and the Australian Consumer Law. For NZ businesses, it includes the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007, the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Privacy Act 2020.
Requirements
You'll need an active Australian Business Number (ABN), trading as a sole trader or through an Australian company, and to be based in Australia.
Optional resources
Product walkthroughs, a sample script and objection guide, researched Australian and NZ lead lists, and a founder who runs every demo you book.
Who this suits
Independent B2B salespeople, appointment setters, credit controllers, bookkeepers and business consultants who are comfortable phoning small businesses, especially anyone with Australian or NZ small-business, accounting or bookkeeping connections. Familiarity with Xero or accounts receivable helps but isn't essential. Previous B2B, SaaS, accounting-software or business-services sales experience would be practical.
