About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the store, maintaining high standards of customer service, managing stock and suppliers, supervising staff and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail store.
- Plan and coordinate staff rosters, shifts and daily work activities.
- Supervise, train and support retail staff to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Monitor sales performance, revenue and operating costs.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, stock rotation and replenishment.
- Coordinate ordering and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Receive, check and appropriately store incoming stock.
- Monitor product pricing, promotions and merchandising.
- Ensure products are displayed attractively and in accordance with business requirements.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints and feedback professionally.

About you

- Relevant qualifications in Retail Management,



Business, Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant retail management experience.
- Current RSA and required licensing.
- Demonstrated experience managing a retail store and supervising employees.
- Strong knowledge of stock control, purchasing and inventory management.
- Experience with staff rostering and performance management.
- Good understanding of retail sales, merchandising and customer service.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
- Good computer and point-of-sale system skills.
