In partnership with the Australia Defence Force, we're seeking an experienced Barista and Food Service Attendant to join the team at Defence Plaza located in the Melbourne CBD.

This is a casual position offering full-time hours working in the Ventia Café. You'll need to be well experienced, reliable, upbeat and ready to deliver great customer service.

Benefits:

- 7.00am - 3:00pm (Monday to Friday) - NO weekends & NO night shifts
- $33.85 per hour + superannuation
- Opportunity for ongoing work and a permanent placement

What you'll be doing:

- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly approachable demeanour.
- Take and process customer orders efficiently and accurately and have knowledge of point-of-sale systems - IMPOS (training provided)
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation.
- Always adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to handle a quick-paced environment with attention to detail.

About you:

- Australian citizen (mandatory)
- You'll need to be very experienced in preparing quality espresso drinks
- Excellent coffee making skills - We serve St Ali coffee




- Experience in hospitality and catering with a focus on coffee making
- Experience working in a kitchen
- Proactive, energetic and have a passion for the hospitality industry
- Outstanding customer service skills
