About the Job

Our in-house animation and eLearning team creates engaging digital learning experiences for a diverse range of clients. We’re looking for a creative and adaptable 2D Animator and eLearning Designer to join our team.

The primary focus of this role is creating and animating corporate-style 2D vector assets and developing visually engaging eLearning content using Articulate 360. You’ll contribute to the full production process, including concept development, storyboarding, visual design, animation and eLearning development.

The qualities we value most are clear communication, a willingness to learn and a sound foundation in 2D vector design and animation. Experience designing and animating corporate-style characters is highly regarded.

You’ll collaborate with animators, videographers and instructional designers to understand project requirements, develop creative concepts and deliver high-quality animations and eLearning courses. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys visual storytelling, works well with feedback and is keen to continue developing their creative and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

2D Design and Animation

- Design and animate corporate-style 2D vector assets using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects.

- Create rigged characters for corporate explainer style animations.

- Create motion graphics, animated infographics, icons, diagrams and other visual resources.

- Develop storyboards, style frames and preproduction artwork.

- Translate scripts and learning content into clear and engaging visual stories.

- Prepare and organise artwork for efficient animation workflows.





- Create consistent visual content that aligns with client brand guidelines.

- Design and animate corporate-style characters where required.

eLearning Development

- Develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate 360.

- Create animations, graphics and visual resources specifically for digital learning.

- Build engaging interactions, knowledge checks and learning activities.

- Work with instructional designers to transform learning content into effective digital experiences.

- Apply consistent layouts, visual styles and navigation across eLearning modules.

- Test and review courses to ensure content, interactions and functionality work correctly.

- Incorporate accessibility and usability considerations into eLearning content.

Collaboration and Project Delivery

- Communicate clearly with the creative team throughout each stage of production.

- Ask questions and seek clarification to ensure project requirements are understood.

- Respond positively to feedback and apply revisions accurately.

- Contribute creative ideas and practical solutions to design and production challenges.

- Manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.

- Use project management tools such as Notion, Trello or Monday.com to track work.

- Maintain organised project files and follow established production workflows.

- Contribute to a team-oriented, innovative and supportive team culture.

Required Skills and Experience

- A sound foundation in creating and animating 2D vector assets.

- Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.

- A good understanding of animation principles, motion graphics and visual storytelling.





- A strong eye for composition, layout, typography and colour.

- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with Articulate 360 or a willingness to quickly develop skills in Storyline and Rise.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Two or more years of experience in animation, motion design, eLearning development or a related creative role.

- Experience creating and animating corporate-style characters including character rigging.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.

- Experience developing interactive courses in Articulate Storyline and Rise.

- Experience creating visual assets.

- Knowledge of video formats, resolutions and production workflows.

- Experience with Figma or Adobe InDesign.

- Storyboarding, scriptwriting, video editing or instructional design experience.

- An understanding of eLearning accessibility and usability principles.

- A creative, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must provide a portfolio before progressing to the interview stage. The portfolio should ideally include examples of:

- Corporate-style 2D vector artwork.

- 2D animation and motion graphics.

- Storyboards, style frames or preproduction artwork.

- Animated infographics or educational content.

- eLearning courses or Articulate Storyline projects, if available

- Corporate-style character design or animation, if available.

- Other examples of visual storytelling, video editing or interactive design.
