We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, hands-on Technically minded and budding horticulturalists.

As a grower at JD Propagation you will help our team rise to the next level of success. You and the team will be responsible for producing millions of Vegetative, Seed and Tissue Culture raised young plants.

At JD we proudly maintain an exceptional standard of quality in our nursery and consistently aim to raise this standard. To support this you will work closely with the management team across the business and ensure proactive communication is at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

The successful applicant MUST:

• Have a can-do-attitude & the ability
• Have an interest in computer-controlled greenhouses
• Have a good work ethic, honesty, and maturity
• Have an interest in plant nutrition, Pest & Disease management and Plant growth regulator applications




• Have a solid drive to contribute to our Continuous Improvement Program & Culture.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a high level of hygiene throughout the nursery and production facility
• Maintain records and ensure stock meets grow profiles
• Liase with the operations team to ensure the growing process is streamlined
• Computer controlled greenhouse management
• Mixing bulk liquid fertiliser recipes to growing profiles.
• Growth control and monitoring including TC quality checks
• Spacing, moving and trimming Plug Crops
• Staff training and management
• Liaising with mother stock and cutting managers to ensure cuttings are of excellent quality
