About the role

Services customers by ensuring that the daily operations of the warehouse function efficiently to meet customer requirements in line with policies, procedures and in response to the company's strategic direction and functional needs. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical factors to ensure stock accuracy while providing outstanding service to customers and sales staff.

Key responsibilities

- Maintains stock to ensure profitable branch sales to exceed targets

- Actively responds to incoming orders from customers and staff

- Serves customers by accurately filling orders

- Assists to process service and warranty returns promptly and efficiently

- Generates and manages operational paperwork which includes back order reports, stock holding reports, freight reports

- Maintains rapport with customers and peers by examining complaints and difficulties

- Attends and contributes to communications meetings

- Maintains customer confidence by keeping information confidential

- Manages stock take and packs and prepares orders

- Provides support to customers about deliveries and maintains warehouse in presentable and functional condition
