The Role

At Grand Saddles, there is no queue and no script. Guests arrive to a name they have already heard and a welcome that feels personal. As a Guest Service Host - Receptionist, you are the host of that moment and the thread that runs through every stay.

You will greet and settle guests, anticipate their needs before they voice them, and bring their stay together across dining, spa and experiences in the surrounding landscape. You will know who is celebrating, who prefers the quiet table, and who would appreciate a car waiting after dinner. Behind the warmth sits real precision: accurate billing, careful handovers, and seamless communication with reservations, restaurant, spa and housekeeping.

The position reports to the Hotel Manager and suits a hospitality skilled who wants to do their best work somewhere small enough for it to be noticed.

About You

- At least one to two years' front office experience in a luxury hotel, lodge or resort

- Natural warmth, polish and presence,



with confidence in conversation with discerning guests

- Working knowledge of a property management system (Opera Cloud, Mews, Infor or similar)

- Sharp attention to detail in billing, guest profiles and handovers

- Local knowledge and a curiosity about the region are a real advantage

- RSA (NSW) and a current First Aid certificate are advantageous

- Flexibility across a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

What You'll Do

- Deliver personalised arrivals, in-stay care and departures

- Curate dining, spa and experience bookings around each guest's stay

- Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences and occasion notes

- Process check-in, billing and payments with complete accuracy

- Respond to guest requests and feedback promptly and graciously

- Work closely with reservations, F&B;, spa and housekeeping to deliver a seamless stay
