About You

You must have a reputation for performing high quality cardiac ultrasound examinations independently whilst providing exceptional patient care. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients,



staff and other medical and non-medical personnel. In addition, you must have:

- Qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound (Cardiac) and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
- Competency in conducting echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms
- Competency in producing a provisional echo report and stress echo reports
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and external stakeholders
- A caring and respectful attitude to our patients
- Commitment to excellence
- The capacity to balance workload to ensure timely patient care
