Job Description
Gundagai District Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department and Acute care team on a 12-week contract basis, starting as soon as possible. This is an in-charge role in a regional NSW setting, offering the chance to lead a small team while delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring ED or acute care experience, with a solid background in triage and clinical leadership.

Prospect to lead and mentor in a regional hospital setting

Preferred Requirements
n
n
Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
n




Demonstrated experience in Emergency Department, Acute, or Aged Care nursing
n
Proven in-charge or team leadership experience
n
Triage competency and experience using the Australasian Triage Scale
n
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in high-acuity settings
n

Preferred Qualifications
n
n
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
n
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) or equivalent certification
n
Post-graduate qualification or experience in Emergency Nursing or Critical Care
