Where You'll Work

n

As part of the Casual Nurse Bank (and depending on your skills), you'll rotate through highly specialised areas, including:

n

Inpatient Haematology, Medical and Surgical Oncology

n

Short Stay Unit

n

Enhanced Care Unit (ECU) - caring for patients with complex needs, including advanced monitoring, symptom management and therapies such as inotropic support

n

Chemotherapy Day Unit (CDU)

n

Radiotherapy

n

Cancer Imaging and Outpatient Clinics

n

Whether your focus is inpatient or ambulatory care,



this role offers diverse exposure and opportunities to develop advanced clinical skills in oncology nursing.

What You'll Bring

n

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

n

Minimum 3 years' experience in acute inpatient or ambulatory care

n

Confidence in clinical assessment, organisation and decision‐making

n

Experience caring for complex or acutely unwell patients

n

Chemotherapy skills and ambulatory oncology experience highly regarded

n

Competence with electronic medical records and digital clinical systems

n

Commitment to safe, evidence-based, patient‐centred care

n

Up‐to‐date immunisation status

n

Oncology, haematology or surgical nursing experience

n

Chemotherapy certification or infusion/ambulatory experience

n

Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology or related specialty

n

Experience in high acuity or enhanced care environments

n

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years' post‐graduate experience (Grade 2 Year 4 or above).

n

Availability to work at least 2-3 days per week.
