A well-established food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join its site maintenance team in Cooma.

The role will suit a qualified fitter with solid mechanical fault-finding skills and experience across preventative maintenance, breakdown response and production equipment.

The Role

n

Mechanical fault-finding and breakdown response

n

Planned and preventative maintenance

n

Maintenance and repair of production and processing equipment

n

Work with hydraulics, pneumatics and associated mechanical systems

n

Support plant reliability and continuous improvement

n

Work closely with production to minimise downtime

n

Identify recurring faults and help reduce equipment failures

n

Roster

n

Monday to Friday

n

38 hours per week

n

Day and afternoon shifts

n

Occasional Saturday maintenance work

n

What We're Looking For

n

Qualified Mechanical Fitter

n

Industrial maintenance experience

n

Strong mechanical fault-finding skills

n

Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience

n

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and production equipment

n

Food, meat, beverage or other manufacturing experience highly regarded
