We Are Seeking a Vibrant Finance Professional to Join Our Team

n





Early Connections - Manning and Great Lakes is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Finance Ops Lead to join our leadership and administration team.

n

This role is perfect for someone with a degree accounting/finance qualification who enjoys combining strong financial skills with relationship building, problem solving and organisational improvement. We are looking for someone who can see beyond the numbers and wants to contribute to a mission-driven organisation supporting children with disability, developmental delay and their families.

n

Working closely with the Manager, leadership team and management committee, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability and ongoing growth of our organisation.

n

The Role

n

Part Time Position (3 days per week/ 5 day fortnight):

n

The Finance Operations Lead will:

n

n
- Lead day-to-day financial management activities.
n
- Prepare monthly financial reports and management reporting.
n
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
n
- Monitor NDIS, grant and organisational revenue streams.
n
- Manage payroll oversight and financial compliance processes.
n
- HR support including Award interpretation and monitoring.
n
- Support annual audits and reporting requirements.
n
- Lead the Administration team, including regular supervision and supports.
n
- Contribute to organisational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Assist with risk,



governance and corporate compliance activities.
n
- Work collaboratively with manager and management committee to support informed decision making.
n

The Successful Candidate Will Have

n

n
- Degree qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
n
- CPA/CA qualification or working towards certification highly regarded.
n
- Demonstrated experience in accounting, finance or business management.
n
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to communicate financial information in a practical and understandable way.
n
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial systems experience.
n
- A collaborative and positive approach.
n
- An interest in the disability, community services or not-for-profit sector.
n
- A genuine commitment to the values of inclusion, participation and community impact.

Part Time status will be negotiated on employment and may be dependent on applicants' level of experience. Position will be permanent following 6mth trial period.
