About the Role

Green by Nature is looking for a passionate and reliable Groundsperson to help maintain beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces to an exceptional standard.

n

This full time position offers 38 hours per week, competitive remuneration and superannuation. You'll be part of a dedicated team responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns and surrounding grounds, with a strong focus on presentation, plant health and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Carrying out high-quality garden and grounds maintenance across the site
n
- Pruning, hedging and shaping plants, shrubs and garden beds
n
- Weeding, mulching and maintaining garden beds to a high standard
n
- Planting and caring for a variety of plants, trees and shrubs
n
- Mowing and maintaining lawns and turf areas
n
- Operating push and ride-on mowers, brush cutters, hedgers and other gardening equipment
n
- Applying fertilisers and carrying out general plant nutrition as required
n
- Identifying plant health issues, weeds, pests and areas requiring additional care
n
- Maintaining garden edges, pathways and surrounding outdoor areas
n
- Ensuring gardens and grounds are consistently presented to a high standard
n
- Completing routine equipment checks and maintaining tools and equipment
n
- Following safe work practices and Green by Nature's quality standards
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in gardening, grounds maintenance, landscaping or horticulture
n
- Strong knowledge of general garden maintenance and plant care
n
- Confident with pruning, hedging, weeding, mulching and planting
n
- Experience operating push and ride-on mowers, brush cutters and gardening equipment
n
- Strong attention to detail and pride in garden presentation
n
- Good understanding of plant health, nutrition and general horticultural practices
n
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
n
- White Card
n
- Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
n
- Valid driver's licence, with Manual preferred
n
- ACDC licence highly regarded but not essential
n
