Job Description

Dymocks Melbourne, the biggest and busiest book shop in Melbourne is looking for an experienced, full-time Stock Receiver.

The successful applicant will need sound computer skills and have the ability to think laterally.

n

Due to the fact that this position involves unpacking and moving boxes the applicant will also need to be physically fit and able to lift boxes in excess of 12kgs.

n

As a Full time stock receiver, you will be:

n

Experienced in high volume stock dispatch or stock receiving.

n

Taking delivery of product and moving it efficiently from the loading bay to the backroom.

n

Ensure all incoming stock is received, checked, and processed accurately and in a timely manner.

n

Adhere to OH & S policies and procedures.

n





Able to work independently but also collaboratively in a team environment and have a cheerful, can-do attitude.

n

Comfort with being on your feet, lifting book cartons, and safely navigating stockroom spaces.

n

Prior warehouse experience is essential.

n

Prior experience with Bookstore & Advanced Retail applications are looked on favorably.

n

The position is Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM

n

(Extra weekend hours may be required at peak times throughout the year especially in the lead up to Christmas).
