Our client, a State Government department, is seeking
skilled and customer-focused Service Officers
to join their debt recovery team. This is a quick-paced contact centre workplace where you will engage with members of the public and businesses to resolve outstanding debts through full payment or structured payment plans, all within strict legislative guidelines. This front-line service role will see you handling a mix of
inbound and outbound calls
, working within a structured workplace where accuracy, resilience, and professionalism are key.

Competitive hourly rate of $ - $ / hr + super

Full time hours, Monday to Friday, rostered between
8am-5pm
(shifts typically 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm with one adaptable day)

What you will bring: n
n




Excellent verbal and written communication skills
with strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
n
Proven experience in
collections, government call centres, or working with legislation
is highly regarded
n
Strong problem-solving and analytical / invetigative skills (such as skip tracing)
n
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
Ability to
efficiently navigate multiple computer systems
to input, manage, and analyse information
n
Previous experience working in a
high-volume customer contact environment
n
Customer-focused approach with a strong results orientation
n
Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to work in an environment of regular change
n
A collaborative team mindset and commitment to the full assignment
n
Additional Requirements: n
Successful applicants must be willing to undergo a federal police check and a final screening interview with our client.
