Auto Electrician - Workshop to Field Service | Yatala | Monday to Friday

AAMG is currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our client's growing team based in Yatala, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for long-term, stable work with a well-established civil contractor. You'll initially be based in the workshop before transitioning into a field service role, working on a wide range of civil and mining equipment.

About the Role

n

As an Auto Electrician, you'll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment, ensuring machinery is maintained to the highest safety and reliability standards.

n

Your duties will include:

n

- Implementing maintenance schedules of company-owned plant,



fixed and mobile crushers and screens and light vehicles. Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
n
- Conducting preventative maintenance and servicing
n
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
n
- Repairing and replacing wiring, sensors, lighting and electrical components
n
- Preparing equipment for mobilisation to site
n
- Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
n
- Responsible for ensuring completion of repairs, service and maintenance jobs according to schedule. Coordinate any emergency, delayed or potentially delayed repair and maintenance jobs.

- Manage the procurement of parts required for the service, repair and maintenance jobs.

About You

n

n
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
n
- Previous experience working on civil, construction and/or mining equipment
n
- Solid fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
