With more than 20 years of experience serving Greater Brisbane, Logan Heart Centre is a well-established private cardiology practice operating across multiple locations.

n

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Cardiac Physiologist to join our diagnostic team on a casual basis. There is scope for the position to develop into an enhanced role during 2027 as an additional cardiologist joins the practice.

About the role

n

You will perform a range of non-invasive cardiac investigations, including:

n

Resting 12-lead electrocardiograms

n

Ambulatory Holter monitoring

n

Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring

n

Exercise stress testing

n

Assisting with stress echocardiograms, including patient preparation and ECG and blood pressure monitoring throughout the test

n

Experience in ECG acquisition and interpretation and exercise stress testing is essential. Experience in Holter monitor analysis will be highly regarded.

About you

n

You will have:

n

An undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Science, Exercise Physiology, Human Movement Studies or a related discipline, or be a final-year student completing your final clinical placement

n





At least 240 hours of clinical placement within a cardiac diagnostic testing environment

n

Strong communication and organisational skills

n

The ability to work confidently both independently and within a collaborative team

n

A proactive and adaptable approach to workflow and patient care

n

A current driver's licence and reliable transport, as travel between our Logan, Greenslopes and Cleveland locations may be required

n

Final-year students completing their final clinical placement are encouraged to apply.
