Our Fortitude Valley location is looking for Sales Merchandisers (also known as a Visual Key Holder) to create a unique shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment.

We will be offering both fixed-term and permanent part-time opportunities, with 40 hours per fortnight on a fixed two-week rotating roster, including alternate weekends.

What You Will Be Doing:

n

- Ensure the store upholds visual presentation, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards to create an inviting shopping setting while showcasing our furniture and homewares through strategic merchandising.
n




- Create unique and engaging experiences for customers by sharing your expertise and helping them enhance their homes, delivering exceptional customer service.
n
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, register operations, and back-office tasks to provide operational support to the store management team, ensuring smooth store operations.
n
- Use effective selling techniques and in-depth product knowledge to drive sales and achieve KPIs.
n
- Create a positive and inclusive environment within a agile and supportive team.
n

What You Will Bring to the Role:

n

n
- 1–2 years' retail or visual merchandising experience (preferred).
n
- Strong eye for detail, layout, and brand presentation.
n
- Great communication and leadership skills.
n
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and work hands-on.
n
- Flexible availability, including after-hours setups and peak trading periods.
n

n

Physical Requirements:

n

n
- Ability to be mobile in the store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods
n
- Ability to climb ladders and use other equipment in line with safety standards
n
- Ability to lift and mobilise medium to large items, up to 30kg, while utilising appropriate equipment and safety techniques
n
