Job Description

The Sentence Planning Officer will contribute to the day-to-day operations of Sentence Management Services performing sentence management functions either in a correctional centre or within a HUB setting at designated locations. This role will provide administrative and planning support, working as part of a team that delivers sentence management services.

Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire recent knowledge and skills as well as to deliver outcomes within a structured environment.
n
Sound written and oral communication skills and an attention to detail in this regard.
n
Problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to meet the challenges of a demanding work workplace.
n
Planning and organising skills to ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
n
Working knowledge of office equipment and experience using Microsoft Office and database applications.
n
Sound interpersonal skills that support service delivery in an environment where engagement with a range of internal and external stakeholders is critical; and
n
Demonstrated ability to operate in a team environment and to complete work autonomously as directed.
