About the Role

n

As a Field Service Technician, you will provide technical support to customers and ensure their 3D printing equipment is operating reliably and efficiently.

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Providing hands-on technical support and training to customers.
n
- Installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing 3D printing equipment.
n
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and technical issues.
n
- Acting as a technical expert and providing customers with practical solutions.
n
- Keeping your knowledge of 3D printing machines, technology and performance up to date.
n
- Accurately recording customer issues, service activities and resolutions within the CRM system.
n
- Providing feedback to internal teams regarding recurring technical issues and solutions.
n
- Supporting customers both remotely and onsite.
n




- Travelling to customer sites as required, including occasional interstate travel.
n
- Building robust relationships with customers and providing a high level of technical service.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical background.
n
- Trade qualifications or relevant technical experience.
n
- Experience working as a Technician, Service Technician, Field Service Technician or similar.
n
- Solid mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
n
- The ability to diagnose faults and work independently to resolve technical issues.
n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
n
- A willingness to learn new technology and develop specialist 3D printing knowledge.
n
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately document technical issues and solutions.
n
- A current driver's licence and the ability to travel to customer sites.
n

n

Experience with 3D printers, additive manufacturing, CNC machinery, robotics, automation or other advanced manufacturing equipment will be highly regarded.
