Duties:

n

n
- Inspect, disassemble, overhaul, and reassemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical rail equipment.
n
- Perform mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on client gear.
n
- Run functional testing, calibration, and commissioning using specialised test rigs and measuring tools.
n
- Complete accurate service logs,



inspection reports, and quality assurance paperwork for every job.
n
- Follow strict EHS policies, protected work procedures and maintain workshop 5S standards.
n

Skills & Experience:

n

n
- Relevant Trade Qualification (Mechanical Fitter, Electrician, Electro-Mechanical, or Diesel Mechanic).
n
- Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing or assembling heavy mechanical, pneumatic or electrical equipment.
n
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and service manuals.
n
- A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and hold a valid Australian Driver's License.
