We are currently seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team.

The Role

n

As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering our clients to achieve their personal goals, enhance their daily living skills, and actively participate in their communities.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Domestic Support: Assisting with light household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
n
- Community Participation: Supporting clients to engage in social activities, appointments, hobbies, and educational or employment opportunities outside the home.
n
- Skill Development: Implementing personalised support plans focused on building independence, social skills, life skills, and confidence.
n
- Health and Well-being: Monitoring and reporting on clients' physical and emotional well-being, including administering medication as required (with appropriate training).
n
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate, professional,



and timely records of support provided and any incidents/observations.
n

What We're Looking For - Criteria

n

Essential:

n

n
- Demonstrated commitment to the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities.
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and flexibility.
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
n
- Current Driver's License and reliable, registered and insured vehicle.
n
- Successful completion of a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
n

n

Desirable (but not essential):

n

n
- Qualifications in Individual Support, Disability, Youth Work or similar field.
n
- Previous experience working in the disability sector is a bonus however not critical as we will train you.
n
