Tired of hunting for your own leads? This is a salaried broking seat inside an established Melbourne property investment group, where the finance team writes the loans for the group's property clients and works an existing back book of refinance opportunities.
What's on offer n

Base salary of $80K, $90K or $100K depending on experience, tiered to a monthly settlement target ($2.5M / $3.0M / $3.5M)

20% bonus on commissions for everything you settle above your target
n
Warm leads from the group's property sales business, plus a back book to call for refinances. Bring your own database and you'll be ahead of target from day one
n
Full loans processing team behind you: they package, process and submit, so you stay in front of clients
n
Choice aggregator and CRM
n
Up-to-date offices on St Kilda Road, Melbourne, with the wider property, advisory and finance teams under one roof
n
The role n
n
Speak with current and returning clients, identify objectives and structure the right lending solution
n




Prepare and submit applications across a panel of lenders and track them through to settlement
n
Keep clients updated at every milestone and maintain an accurate CRM
n
Build referral relationships and attend seminars and events with lenders and partners
n
Spot cross-sell opportunities across the group's property and financial services
n
Hours n
Core hours are 9am-7pm, which is when most client business happens, with some flexibility on start and finish times. Occasional Saturdays to see clients when needed; not a standard six-day week.
About you n
n
3+ years in mortgage broking or banking/lending
n
Comfortable in a rapid-paced, office-based environment
n
Confident on the phone: this role is built on outbound calls to warm databases
n
Strong customer service and attention to detail on file preparation
n
Cert IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or Diploma) and eligibility for aggregator accreditation
n
