About the role:

n

As Team Leader Hard Rubbish & Litter Prevention, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of Council's hard rubbish collection, litter prevention, illegal dumping response and city amenity services.

n

You will provide strong leadership to operational staff, oversee contractor performance and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with community expectations.

n

You will:

- Lead, develop and support a team of operational employees.
n
- Oversee the delivery of hard rubbish collection and litter prevention programs.
n
- Coordinate responses to illegal dumping, graffiti and amenity issues.
n
- Manage service schedules, contractor performance and operational priorities.
n
- Drive continuous improvement and customer-focused service outcomes.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, legislative and Council requirements.
n
- Monitor service performance and provide operational reporting and advice.
n

You are a capable operational leader with experience managing frontline services, people and contractors in a complex environment.

You bring sound judgement, strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality services that make a positive impact on the community.

You will bring:

- Experience leading teams in operational, waste management or field-based environments.
n
- Knowledge of hard rubbish, litter prevention, waste management or city amenity services.
n
- Strong contractor management and service delivery experience.
n
- Sound understanding of compliance, safety and risk management requirements.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
n
- Robust planning, organisational and problem-solving capability.
n
- A commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer outcomes.
