Medical Receptionist – GP Clinics | Casual / Part-Time

McKinnon Hill Medical Centre – McKinnon VIC

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised Medical Receptionist to join our established GP practices in McKinnon and Sandringham.

n

Casual and part-time opportunities are available, with ongoing regular hours and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across both clinics.

n

Our clinics operate Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm. No weekend roster.

n

Pay: Pay rates vary depending on employment type, experience and classification, plus superannuation.

n

Medical reception experience is highly regarded; however, we are happy to train the right person who has robust customer service skills, confidence with computers and the right attitude.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and checking in patients
n
- Answering phone enquiries
n
- Managing appointments
n
- Processing payments and Medicare-related administration
n




- Managing correspondence and patient information
n
- Supporting doctors, nurses and the wider practice team
n

Medical reception or GP practice experience is highly regarded, and Best Practice experience is an advantage, but neither is essential for the right candidate.

Availability

n

This is an ongoing position, however strong availability from October through December is essential, including the Christmas/New Year period when rostered.
