The Armoury Coffee Co. is Ipswich Grammar School's new in office coffee shop, established as part of our staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives. Operating Monday - Friday mornings, The Armoury provides high-quality coffee and a relaxed, welcoming space for our staff. The coffee shop will be a valued part of the IGS community, focused on great coffee, friendly service, and a sense of connection.

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Baristas to join our team at The Armoury Coffee Co. You'll play an important role in delivering exceptional service, quality coffee, and a friendly experience for all staff and visitors. This is a great opportunity to be part of a specialty coffee shop that supports staff wellbeing, contributes to our school culture, and operates from 7.00am – 11.30am Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends.

The Barista is responsible for:

n

- Preparing and serving specialty quality coffee and light food items
n
- Providing friendly, efficient and professional customer service
n
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café area
n




- Assisting with daily opening, closing and restocking
n
- Supporting the Cafe Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations
n

The successful candidate may possess:

n

n
- Previous experience as a barista in a cafe or hospitality setting
n
- Strong coffee-making skills and attention to detail
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team
n
- Current Food Safety certificate (or willingness to obtain)
