Position Profile and Role

n

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Service Attendant to join our PSS team at Rockingham Hospital. This role plays an important part in supporting patient care by ensuring meals are prepared, presented, and delivered in a timely, safe, and professional manner. In this role, you will assist with food preparation, meal service, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service.

The successful applicant/(s) shall be responsible for meal assembly and plating, distributing meals and beverages to patients, collecting meal trays, maintaining cleanliness in food service and kitchen areas, operating dishwashing equipment, and adhering to strict food safety, infection control, and hygiene standards. This is a rewarding prospect to contribute to patient wellbeing while working as part of a supportive and dedicated healthcare team.

Rockingham General Hospital's Patient Support Services - Catering Department has various rosters that may include early morning, afternoon, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
