There are only two of these roles in the entire business and one of them could be yours.

The Regional Manager owns a region as a genuine commercial business in its own right, accountable for sales, margin, wage discipline, people capability and operating standards across 17–18 stores and 1,200–1,500 people. Reporting to the EGM Retail Operations & Property and leading a team of 3–4 Area Managers, you'll run the region from the stores, not from behind a desk.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Own the region's sales growth, reading LFL growth, basket size, transaction count and category performance week by week
n
- Own Post Wages Gross Profit through product mix, waste management and markdown discipline
n
- Own wage cost through roster design and labour deployment, running to budget without sacrificing service or standards
n
- Hold Availability as a non-negotiable, gap-fill, ordering discipline and same-day OOS resolution are daily expectations
n
- Own the standard of every store in the region, embedding the five Playbook disciplines as the weekly operating expectation
n
- Hold formal accountability for the Store Manager bench and Area Manager development, performance and succession readiness
n
- Own recent store readiness and activation within the region, partnering with the EGM on commercial ramp
n
- Hold full WHS accountability for the region, TRIFR down year-on-year, zero critical food safety non-conformances

What You'll Bring

n

We're looking for someone who loves food, with senior-level experience leading multi-site fresh food or grocery retail and owning a P&L; of real scale. Additionally, we're looking for someone with:

- Demonstrated senior leadership experience, valued above formal qualifications
n
- Experience leading managers, not just managing them
n
- The ability to read a store in minutes, product, people, pace and standards, before anyone says a word
n
- Commercial acumen to move sales, margin and wage outcomes from the floor, not from a report
n
- Leadership range to develop managers who will carry the business into its next phase
n
- Strong fresh food knowledge, essential to leading a Harris Farm region
