We're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join the team at Acqua Restaurant & Bar, located right on the beautiful Caloundra waterfront.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
n
- Checking ingredients and food quality
n
- Using ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
n
- Assisting with food preparation, plating and presentation
n
- Preparing meals for dietary requirements when needed
n
- Helping with food storage and stock rotation
n
- Assisting our chefs with menu planning and food preparation
n
- Supporting apprentices and other kitchen team members
n




- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
n

n

What we're looking for

n

n
- At least 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen
n
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
n
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices
n
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Ability to work well in a team and during busy service periods
n
- Pride in producing quality food and maintaining high standards
n
- Reliable, hardworking and well presented
n
