Scotts Group, Artarmon NSW is seeking an experienced
Dealership Financial Accountant
to join the team. This role involves managing month-end reporting, ensuring tax reporting and payment obligations are met, and overseeing daily accounting operations including invoicing, cash management, and internal financial reporting.
Key responsibilities n
n
Month end reporting
n
Ensure tax reporting and payment obligations are met
n
Manage daily operations including accounting, invoicing, cash management and internal financial reporting
n
Analyse departmental results to provide feedback into business performance improvement
n
Liaise with auditors and other regulatory bodies to ensure statutory compliance
n
Produce monthly management accounts
n
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
n
Vehicle sales processing and reporting, wholesale and retail
n
Daily bank reconciliations and customer refunds/payouts
n
Fixed asset register maintenance
n




About you n
n
Previous Motor Dealer experience is highly regarded
n
Ability to work on Pentana ERA-DMS
n
Intermediate to Advanced computer skills with MS Excel, Office, accounting software and databases
n
Ability to meet strict deadlines and multi-task
n
High level of accuracy and solid attention to detail
n
Ability to prioritize workload
n
Well-versed in accounts/tax compliance, auditing procedure, finance system regulations in Australia
n
Robust analytical, business mindset and problem solving skills
n
Extensive knowledge of financial reporting requirements and experience in preparing financial statements.
n

This role is available for an immediate start.The role is dealership-based and is fully onsite, with no work-from-home arrangement.
