Dental Excellence Bundaberg is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our agile team in Bundaberg, Queensland. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth running of our practice. This is a casual position, working roughly 3–5 days per week hours), with flexible scheduling to suit your lifestyle.
What you'll be doing n
n
Assisting dentists during patient procedures by passing instruments, providing suction, and maintaining a clean and organised work workplace
n
Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments
n
Greeting patients, booking appointments, and managing patient records
n
Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
n
Adhering to all relevant health and safety standards and infection control protocols
n
What we're looking for n
n
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right applicant




n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
n
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
n
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
n
A friendly, professional, and empathetic approach when interacting with patients
