RPG Australia is a leading steel processing company that specialise in the delivery of integrated steel solutions. We provide pressing, rolling and profiling services to different industries all throughout Australia.

We are currently looking for a Brake Press Operator to join our busy team at Wacol.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

n
- Warehousing and distribution of steel products using overhead cranes and forklifts
n
- Set up, operate, and program machines to achieve optimum efficiency and productivity.
n
- Prepare and inspect product, ensure production requirements are met, and bundle loads for delivery
n
- Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on machines
n
- General warehouse duties;
n
- Follow and maintain high workplace safety standards at all times
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n




- Experience working as a Machine Operator or in a similar role
n
- Previous metal and brake pressing experience is an advantage
n
- Experience in reading and interpreting drawings is highly regarded.
n
- A current forklift licence is highly regarded.
n
- Crane licence or experience operating overhead bridge gantry cranes highly regarded
n
