Are you a hands-on IT skilled who enjoys working directly with users and solving technical issues? We are seeking an Onsite Deskside Engineer to join a leading technology company supporting end users across a dynamic corporate environment in Macquarie Park, Sydney.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with desktop support, field services, device deployment, or helpdesk experience who enjoys a mix of technical troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and install PCs, laptops, printers, monitors, and peripheral devices.
n
- Provide Level 1 onsite and remote support for desktop, laptop, printer, and basic network issues.
n
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, workstation moves, and equipment refresh activities.
n
- Manage IT assets, including inventory tracking, reporting, user sign-offs, and equipment decommissioning.
n
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams while maintaining strong user communication.
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Experience in Desktop Support, Deskside Support, Field Services, or a similar IT support role.
n
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, desktop/laptop hardware, and printers.
n
- Basic networking knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot LAN connectivity issues.
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills with a user-focused approach.
n
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to new technologies.
