Edge Commercial Interiors is seeking a highly skilled CNC Machine Operator/Edge Bander Operator/Homag Beam Saw Operator to join our dynamic team in Keilor East. We are a well established company, with over 25 years experience, manufacturing unique and customised architectural joinery. This full-time position is an excellent prospect for a skilled tradesperson to contribute to the production of high-quality architectural joinery and custom cabinetry. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will operate specialised machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and accurate fabrication of custom cabinetry and furniture components.

What you'll be doing
n
Operate CNC machine to cut, shape and profile a variety of materials
n
Operate Edge Banding machine to apply edging to the exposed edges of panels, shelves and other components
n
Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance
n
Work closely with the production team to meet tight deadlines and quality standards
n
Contribute to a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures
n
What we're looking for
n
Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Edge Bander Operator/Homag Beam Saw Operator
n
Strong understanding of CNC Machine programming and operation
n
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
n
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
n
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a team
n
The ability to work reasonable overtime
n
Have a current driver's licence
n
