Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Retail Department Manager to join our team at Emerald Mitre 10 Home & Trade. As Retail Department Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a key department within our busy store. This is a full-time position based in Emerald, QLD 4720.

What you'll be doing

n

Manage and lead a team of sales associates to deliver exceptional customer service

n

Drive sales and profitability targets for your department through effective inventory management and merchandising

n

Oversee stock ordering for each area

n

Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

n

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and health and safety standards

n

Assist with the overall store operations as needed

n

What we're looking for

n

Experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably within the home improvement or hardware industry

n





Robust leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

n

Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

n

Exceptional organisational and time management skills

n

Passion for the home improvement industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences

n

You may be required to work weekends and open/close the store
