What you'll do
n
You'll be an important part of our Finance team, helping ensure our Accounts Receivable and Billing functions run smoothly and accurately.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
Processing billing, payments, cash receipts, journals and credits.
n
Following up outstanding accounts and assisting with collections.
n
Supporting residents and families with questions about their bills and aged care fees.
n
Processing direct debits, refunds and other account adjustments.
n
Maintaining accurate resident account records.
n
Supporting government funding reconciliations and processing relevant Department of Health and Aged Care correspondence.
n
Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting.
n
Maintaining bond and loan records.
n
Working closely with Finance, Customer Relations, Admissions and other teams to resolve queries and provide great customer service.
n
Looking for ways to improve processes and make things easier for our customers and our teams.
n
What you'll bring
n
2+ years' experience in Accounts Receivable, collections or a similar finance role.
n
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
n
Confidence communicating with customers by phone, email and face-to-face.
n
Experience with billing, collections and account reconciliations.
n
Good Excel and computer skills.
n
A team-oriented, customer-focused approach.
n
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
n
A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
n
Experience in Aged Care, Home Care or Retirement Living is highly regarded, as is experience with Epicor or aged care systems — but it's not essential.
n
