Elite Portables is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.

- Hold a recognised trade certificate

- Have strong welding and fabrication skills

- Read and work from drawings
n
- Produce accurate, high-quality work

- Be reliable and safety-focused

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Fabricate and weld structural steel components for portable and modular buildings.
n
- Read and interpret workshop drawings, plans and specifications.
n
- Measure, cut, drill, grind and assemble steel components accurately.
n
- Perform MIG welding to the required quality and structural standards.
n




- Inspect completed work and correct defects before production handover.
n
- Operate welding, cutting and fabrication equipment safely.
n
- Maintain tools, machinery and a clean, organised work area.
n
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
n
- Work efficiently with supervisors and other trades to meet production deadlines.
n
- Assist with general workshop and manufacturing duties when required.
