Dubbo City Welding Works is a leading manufacturer of steel ute trays in Dubbo and surrounds. We are a well-established, locally owned and operated business focusing on customer satisfaction, quality work and work protected practices.

Dubbo City Welding are looking for long term, quality employees join our team as a welder/fabricator to manufacture high quality, light-weight steel ute trays.

Qualifications are preferred, but not essential. We offer above award wages and excellent working conditions in a well-equipped, purpose-built workshop.

Key responsibilities

- Perform welding and fabrication tasks in the production of steel ute trays.
- Fitting customised canopies and trays to vehicles
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal components to specifications.
- Fabrication, repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, within timeframes and meeting quality requirements




- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Always comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications and skills

- Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator or in a similar role.
- Relevant welding qualifications (preferred, but not essential).
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
- A commitment to quality and pride in your work
