Crown Electrical Solutions is seeking a Level 2 ASP & Electrical Connections Technician /Project Coordinator to manage our Level 2 ASP, power connection and associated network projects.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 2 electrician, supervisor, project coordinator or developing Project Manager who has robust technical knowledge and is ready to take greater ownership of projects and people.

n

You don't need to be a career Project Manager, but you do need to be organised, confident dealing with people and comfortable taking responsibility for getting projects from enquiry through to completion.

The Role

n

You will be responsible for:

n

n
- Managing Level 2 ASP and electrical connection projects from enquiry to completion
n
- Coordinating new connections, upgrades, metering and disconnection/reconnection works
n
- Managing applications with retailers, metering providers and supply authorities
n
- Planning and coordinating network outages and substation openings
n
- Coordinating Level 1 subcontractors and Level 3 designers where required
n
- Managing larger connections over 80A, up to 2000A and non-standard supply arrangements.
n
- Scheduling and coordinating Level 2 technicians and electricians
n
- Coordinating underground services and connection requirements with builders and other trades
n
- Reviewing drawings and providing technical information to site teams
n
- Assisting with scopes,estimates and proposals
n
- Tracking approvals, inspections, defects and certifications through to close-out
n
- Identifying potential issues and delays early and taking ownership of resolving them
n

About You





n

We're particularly interested in someone with:

n

n
- Level 2 ASP, electrical or utility connection experience
n
- Good knowledgeof NSW electricity connection processes
n
- Strong organisation and communication skills
n
- Confidence coordinating electricians, subcontractors, builders and clients
n
- The ability to manage multiple jobs and competing priorities
n
- The ability to read electrical and construction drawings
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach
n
- A genuine interest in developing their project management and commercial skills
n

n

Previous project management experience will be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in someone with the right technical background, leadership ability and potential to step up into the role.
