Compass Fertility and Capital Hill Medical are growing, and we are looking for a Patient Services Officer to join our friendly and inclusive team. We provide a comprehensive range of specialist services, fertility treatments, including ovulation tracking, artificial insemination, IVF, IVF/ICSI, and known donor egg and sperm cycles.

As a Patient Services Officer, you will be a vital link between patients and our Doctors, Nursing, Laboratory, and Financial Services teams, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced Fertility Nurses, Scientists, and Medical Administrators while gaining valuable insights into the fertility field.

About the Role

n

As the first point of contact for patients, Patient Services Officers play a critical role in providing guidance, support, and administrative assistance. This full time position (part-time considered for the right candidate, 3-4 days per week) involves:

Patient Communication & Support

n

- Answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately
n
- Booking appointments and assisting with scheduling
n
- Providing basic information about fertility services and fees
n
- Sending cycle information to patients before treatment
n




- Offering financial guidance on treatment costs and payment options
n

n

Administrative & Financial Coordination

n

n
- Processing referrals, quotes, invoices, and payments
n
- Managing patient financial records and debt collection
n
- Maintaining accurate patient data entry and general correspondence
n
- Ordering office supplies and ensuring clinic spaces are tidy and welcoming
n

n

Team & Clinic Support

n

n
- Acting as the central hub for patient coordination
n
- Collaborating with medical, nursing, and finance teams
n
- Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times
n

- Organised & Detail-Oriented – Able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

- Empathetic & Patient-Focused – Understanding of the emotional journey of fertility treatment

- Tech-Savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with administrative systems

- A Team Player – Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of working independently when needed
