General Labourer with Forklift Experience – Greenacre | Immediate Start

Synergie Australia requires 2 x General Labourers with forklift expfor day shift , starting immediately in Greenacre

Duties & Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform general labouring and waste management duties, with some forklift operation.
n
- Operate a forklift to move, sort and dispose of waste safely and efficiently.
n
- Sort and handle materials such as paper and plastics, loading products into the appropriate containers.
n
- Use a radio and WhatsApp to communicate with the team and coordinate daily activities.
n
- Complete basic computer tasks, records and paperwork accurately.
n
- Operate a baler as required.
n
- Assist with preparing plant, machinery and work areas.
n
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas,



equipment and surrounding areas.
n
- Follow all site safety procedures and client requirements.
n
- Provide qualified and reliable service while working as part of a team.
n

Essential:

n

At least 6 months of hands-on forklift experience

n

Minimum Current driver's licence (Class 1 (NZ); Class C (AUS)

n

Forklift Licence

n

Technical skills are required - particularly in computer use and communication. Our weighbridge operations rely heavily on both, so we need someone who is confident using the radio and engaging on platforms like WhatsApp

n

Desirable:

n

Computer literate enough to work with weighbridge software

n

Experience with Waste Management industry

n

Ideal candidate

Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work

n

Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks

n

Commitment to safety

n

Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

n

Self-motivated

n

PPE: long sleeve top, long drill pants, high vis top, steel capped boot
