We're hiring! A Pro Shop Assistant role is now available for a customer-focused individual ready to be part of a high-performing Golf Club team.

Cairns Golf Club is the largest and busiest Golf Club in Far North Qld. The Club is a modern facility and has up-to-date values. With over 1,000 members, 25,000 public users of the facility, and nearly 70,000 rounds of golf a year, no 2 days are the same. The Club is continually growing and evolving with constant improvements in all areas. We have a floodlit Driving Range, air-conditioned Clubhouse, 60+ golf carts, 30 staff and an 18-hole championship golf course.

Qualifications & experience

n

n
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
n
- Golf knowledge an advantage but not essential
n
- Provide a high level of customer service
n
- Be positive,



confident & love working in a small team environment
n
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft programs for email, Word & Excel
n
- Flexibility with roster availability as we operate 7 days from 5:30am - 7pm
n
- Basic use of modern Point of Sale units
n

Tasks & responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain a neat and clean environment in the golf shop (clean counters, shelves and displays)
n
- Assist with golf cart collection and return to and from the cart shed (including cleaning and washing carts)
n
- Monitoring Driving Range users
n
- Provide retail services to the Members and public visitors to the Club
n
- Handle Golf Bookings, for both social and competition play
n
