Job Description

Depending on the participant's individual care plan, responsibilities may include providing high-intensity disability support to participants across Brisbane, Logan and surrounding suburbs, Calamvale, and Deagon. These roles involve supporting participants with high-intensity care requirements. Applicants must be willing and able to travel to the relevant client locations.

Key responsibilities

- Providing comprehensive high-intensity disability support
n
- Supporting bowel-care routines in accordance with participant plans and worker training
n
- Following mealtime-management plans and protected eating and drinking requirements
n
- Providing personal care, grooming and hygiene support
n
- Completing manual-handling tasks and safely operating hoists
n
- Supporting medication management and completing medication documentationAssisting participants with community access, appointments and activities
n
- Preparing meals and assisting with cooking
n
- Completing domestic duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
n
- Monitoring and documenting fluid intake and output
n

About you

n





n
- A minimum of two years' relevant disability or complex-care support experience
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or another relevant qualification
n
- A current medication-management certificate
n
- Demonstrated experience providing high-intensity or complex personal care
n
- Demonstrated experience with manual handling and hoist use
n
- A reliable personal vehicle
n
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Yellow Card
n
- A current Working with Children Check/Blue Card
n
