SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre is looking for outstanding fitness professionals to join our Health and Wellness and Personal Trainer team on a casual basis.

n

The SA Aquatic and Leisure Centre includes a world-class gym, driving inclusion, health outcomes, and opportunities for all South Australian's to 'be active'.

The successful candidate will be required to:

n

n
- Work casual gym shifts following the Fitness Industry Award.
n
- Teach Group Fitness Classes with inhouse training provided
n
- Provide Personal Training to our existing membership base.
n

n

Key responsibilities include

n

n
- Promote safety in the Health Club environment
n
- Always supervise the Health Club
n
- Supervise members during Personal Programs
n
- Supervise members who are working out and ensure their safety
n
- Inspect equipment frequently and log for maintenance if required
n
- Provide Customer Service to Health & Wellness Members
n
- Perform delegated Health Club maintenance and cleaning duties
n
- Conduct Personal Programs for Members
n
- Cross-Promoting various aspects of the Centre, not limited to the Health Club Programs
n
- Promote Health & Wellness by imparting knowledge to members, recommending exercise techniques and options for Health Living, along with promoting Personal Training at AAC
n
- Complete appropriate paperwork and checklists when required
n
- Ensure all qualifications are kept current
n




- Instruct Group Fitness classes in accordance with programs provided
n
- Manage your own Personal training availabilities and clients
n

n

Qualifications to be held

n

n
- National Police check upon application.
n
- Introduction to Child Safety Training upon commencement
n
- Current Working With Children Check for Employment to be held
n
- Current Provide First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation to be held
n
- Current registration with an Industry Peak Body such as AusActive
n
- Certificate III in Fitness
n
- Relevant Group Fitness Certificate
n
- (Cert IV in Fitness required for Personal Training)
n

Rem: Health and Wellness Instructor - Adult $38.33 per hour + Weekend Loadings

n

Rem: Personal Trainer - Adult from $44.99 per hour

n
