Job Description

We're looking for Court Officers to join our team at Perth & JP Court on a full time, permanent basis.

This role is based fully on-site in the court. As a Court Officer, you will support the delivery of court hearings, working alongside members of the judiciary and legal professionals to ensure proceedings are conducted safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

n

Prepare courtrooms and support Sheriffs during proceedings

n

Welcome and guide witnesses, jurors, professionals and members of the public

n

Support the safe and orderly running of the court building

n

Assist with courtroom technology, including audio-visual equipment

n

Handle documents, productions and general admin tasks

n

Work closely with colleagues, Police Scotland, GEOAmey and partner services.
