Our client, who supports a better life for hundreds of thousands of Australians with significant and permanent disability, and their families and carers, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Duties of the Senior DevOps Engineer

- Design, development, deployment, and support of the Agency’s Cloud & Data Infrastructure;
- Prioritising and managing the work queue to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives;
- Ensuring that all solutions adhere to integration best practices and are well documented;
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes;
- Playing a key leadership role in project teams, utilising an agile development framework.

Skills and Experience Required

- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services, with proven ability to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions;
- Strong experience in building and deploying DevOps practices, tools, and continuous delivery pipelines, including GitLab, Artifactory, and Jira, to streamline development workflows;
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)



tools such as Terraform for automating infrastructure provisioning and managemen;
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git, combined with a solid understanding of agile development methodologies to support collaborative, iterative development.
- Demonstrated experience working with Salesforce, MuleSoft and/or AWS environments, including Kubernetes-based platforms;
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for securing sensitive data and managing secrets across cloud infrastructure;
- Demonstrated experience performing or leading GitLab to GitHub migrations within a complex SDLC environment supporting Salesforce, MuleSoft or comparable enterprise technologies.
