About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Solar Service Technician to join our growing team.





This is primarily a solar servicing, fault‑finding and sales role — not an installation role. We have a dedicated solar installation team, so you'll be able to focus on what you're good at: diagnosing problems, finding solutions and looking after customers.

There is no cold calling or door knocking. All appointments are generated and booked by our office team, meaning you'll arrive at each job with a genuine customer enquiry already booked in.

You’ll work across a wide range of domestic solar systems, carrying out inspections, testing, fault‑finding, repairs, maintenance and system assessments.

You’ll also have the opportunity to quote customers for repairs, inverter replacements, system upgrades, additional panels, batteries and complete system replacements where appropriate.

This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys the technical side of solar but also wants to be rewarded for their ability to communicate with customers, identify solutions and generate sales.

What We’re Looking For

- Current QLD Electrical Licence
- Strong domestic solar service and fault‑finding experience
- Strong understanding of residential solar systems and inverters




- Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skillsConfidence discussing repairs, replacements, upgrades and battery solutions with customers
- Skilled presentation and attitude
- Reliable, honest and motivated
- Comfortable using a phone/tablet and job management software
- Ability to identify opportunities and provide practical solutions for customers
- A strong focus on quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time

Highly Regarded

- SAA Accreditation
- Battery installation experience
- Battery storage experience
- Experience with Sungrow, GoodWe, Fronius, Sigenergy or other major inverter platforms
- Experience with solar inspections and system testing
- Experience quoting solar repairs, upgrades and replacements
- Strong residential service and maintenance background
- Sales and customer service experience
