This position is an exciting prospect to join the South-West Victoria Region, School Performance Division as the Youth Programs Officer (YPO). This VPS4 role is for a Full time-fixed term period until 19 November 2027 and can be located in any of the South Western Victoria Regional offices.

Primary responsibilities:

n

n
- Co-manage the exemption from school application process, including processing of applications, preparing exemption correspondence and following up with schools and pathway providers;
n
- Support schools to comply with the exemption from school policy and liaise with schools, TAFEs and RTOs around exemption requirements to help them follow processes;
n
- Collaborate with area staff and provide advice to senior regional leadership on recommended application outcomes.

- Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team to support the implementation of government/departmental reform projects and policy relating to effective youth pathways and 0-18 transitions.
