About the Role

n

We're currently recruiting an experienced Dogman / Rigger to join our construction team at the Maryvale Solar & Energy Storage project.

n

Working alongside our crane crews and construction teams, you'll play a key role in the secure and efficient movement of materials across a large, fast-paced solar and battery storage site. Day to day you'll be:

We welcome applications from local candidates, and candidates travelling to the project on a roster basis.

This is a casual position with a projected start mid-October.

- Monday to Friday roster.
n
- Above award hourly rates and applicable penalty rates.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Experienced Dogman, with Rigger ticket highly regarded
n
- Additional Crane (C1) ticket also highly regarded. Minimal crane operation expected.
n




- Demonstrated experience with a fast paced environment - assisting with multiple lifts per day
n
- Duties include setting rigging gear, dogging battery storage units during crane lifts, safely guiding loads onto foundation pads and confirming correct placement and alignment before release
n
- Drivers Licence is essential.
n
- HR Licence is desirable.
n
- White Card is essential.
n
- Telehandler licence - essential
n
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery.
n
- Must be an experienced, competent and safety-conscious plant operator.
n
- Experience working on utility network projects, including Essential Energy or Energex, is highly desirable.
n
- Ability to work effectively on large-scale construction projects while adhering to strict safety standards and procedures.
n
- Show good attention to detail and have the ability to work in a team environment with a can-do attitude.
n
- Be fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test.
n
- Able to pass daily breath testing and random drug testing on site.
